At Alma, the mission is to prepare graduates who think critically, serve generously, lead purposefully, and live responsibly. Students are instilled with a love for learning and discovery and encouraged to take those values into the post-graduation world.
Alma offers more than 50 fields of study, with many opportunities for expanding learning outside the classroom. The Alma Commitment offers a pledge that each student will receive up to $2,500 in Alma Venture funding to participate in an experiential learning opportunity, such as an internship, research fellowship, or study abroad. If a student meets program requirements but is not able to graduate on time through no fault of their own, the college will pay tuition for an added semester.
