Calvin Lifework Program:
The Calvin Lifework Program is a set of online courses designed to help students with their next steps after college, whatever that may be. Students learn career readiness skills, financial literacy, and most importantly, leadership.

The Rhetoric Center:
The Rhetoric Center at Calvin University is a free resource for students of any major offering assistance on written, visual, and oral assignments. Students can come to the center and meet with an engaged staff member to discuss potential ideas, work through organization and structure, and learn crucial skills of communication that will be crucial in any career field they enter.

Significant Partnerships

The Calvin Center for Innovation in Business (CCIB) works with corporations in Michigan and beyond to prepare students for professional life through Calvin Action Projects (CAPs). CAPs connect diverse groups of business students with real-world businesses to work as consulting teams. Interested businesses will find a challenging but tangible issue for the student consulting team to collaborate and solve. Past students have worked with Amway, Sperry, the Mercantile Bank of West Michigan, and more.

Centers of Excellence/Research

The Calvin Center for Innovation in Business
The CCIB focuses on supporting Calvin’s business students and improving the university’s business department. The Center offers Calvin Action Projects, which incorporate experiential learning opportunities for students through internships and faculty-guided research. The CCIB is not only focused on improving Calvin’s business program, but also on ensuring business graduate success through hands-on learning experiences, research opportunities, and leadership skills.
