Michigan Career Connect is a nationally recognized initiative that prepares students and graduates of the state’s top private colleges and universities for success in the 21st century world of work and uniquely connects them with Michigan’s leading employers.
MCC is a program of Michigan Colleges Alliance (MCA), one of the oldest and most recognized private higher education associations in the nation. It represents Michigan’s top 15 private colleges and universities in collective promotion, scholarship development, and career outcomes for students enrolled in the MCA network.
Through MCC, top employers participate directly in preparing students for career success through executive mentoring, project collaboration, and faculty engagement, with a focus on fields related to Michigan’s economy. The program also includes a one-stop, white glove service for filling internships and full-time placements.

Unlike open access match-making job search and canned career tool platforms, MCC is a customized website with opportunities for employers to engage with students and faculty in career-enhancing activities and programs. It also includes a concierge, one-stop recruiting service for employers to access top talent from 15 colleges and universities with just one step. MCC is available only to students and graduates of MCA member colleges and universities, and it is provided exclusively to select Michigan employers.
