Power Skills

E.P. Hart Honors Program
Students participating in the E.P. Hart Honors Program will receive an extra $1,000 scholarship in addition to their current scholarship, and will participate in general education courses centered around a diverse series of timeless texts from various cultures and histories. These courses are team-taught by two professors, allowing for further faculty interaction and unique and insightful dialogue. Students will coordinate with a faculty mentor from their academic program to complete a senior thesis project.

The Gainey School of Business at Spring Arbor University prepares business students in a wide range of majors and programs to enter the working world as outstanding and prepared professionals. The mission of the Gainey School of Business is to provide students with a strong knowledge and awareness of global economic forces, the evolution of technology, and contemporary issues facing companies, familiarizing them with the industry they will enter following graduation.

Among 2022 graduates, 93% are employed while 7% are enrolled in continuing education.  Ninety-five percent of employed respondents indicated that their employment is directly or somewhat related to their field of study.

According to Registration and Records and responses to a survey of graduates, 799 out of the total 959 graduating class (83%) had at least one experiential learning or internship/practicum experience for credit. This includes program requirements (e.g. internship, practicum, student teaching, and supervised ministry) as well as optional experiences.
